Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, the Inside Sales Specialist will interact with customers and Sales to ensure a smooth sales process. She/he will demonstrate excellent customer service, communication and professionalism from initial contact to follow up with customers regarding enquiries about Acuva products.  The Inside Sales Specialist will generate revenue by presenting and upselling additional products to current customers, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.  She/he will have experience in working in a inside sales/customer service environment in a supportive role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Communicating with portfolio of accounts, taking inbound calls from existing customers, and following up on deliverables
  • Support the sales team ensuring they have the tools, support and resources needed to set them apart from the competition
  • Support outside sales team with managing existing and prospective accounts
  • Manage internal customer files and keep CRM up to date with new accounts, contacts, quotes 
  • Liaison with different departments to create quotes, enter orders, coordinate shipping/returns
  • Manage generic inbound email and follow up with customers for quick turnarounds
  • Understanding customers’ needs and internally managing sales opportunities
  • Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information per email
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
  • Staying informed about competing products and services
  • Upselling products and services
  • Creating and categorizing new leads in the CRM
Qualifications
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills with a Can-Do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Great organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot customer issues in a calm manner
Education & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in technical sales
  • Previous experience in managing client communications
  • Post Secondary education
